We recently returned from a week at Disney Vero Beach Resort and we had a fantastic time. As we normally do, we took long walks on the beach in search of the perfect shells to keep as a souvenir. Of course, we found a lot to bring home. We added them to our already mounting collection!
This got me thinking about seashell crafts we could do to use some of the ones we collected over the years. My go-to research tool is Pinterest, so I created a list of great seashell craft ideas. I’m going to share a few of them with you and hope you find some ideas as I did.

Wind Chime
This is an idea I plan to do. It uses shells and a Dremel, both of which I have. Posted at Modern Seashell Art learn how to make a Wind Chime. Shells have a timeless quality and artwork created from shells brings with it memories of sweet days spent with toes in the sand. I also love wind chimes, so it is a win-win for me. Note: here is a great post on using a Dremel to drill holes in shells.
Seashell Monogram
Use a wooden letter from your craft store and create a unique decorative item. Purple Hues and Me explains how to do this in easy steps.
