There are so many things we have to spend money on like gas, food, a place to live, healthcare, and the list goes can go on. But there are many places where you can save money.
Some of my suggestions may seem a bit over the edge, but if you are in need of saving some money each month you should consider them.

Ideas To Save Money
I also have several posts on saving money, but here are some new ones for you to try:
Convenience foods: Stop buying things just because they make cooking easier such as pre-sliced fruit, shredded cheese, and individual snacks.
Car washes: Skip the $20+ car wash and wash it yourself.
Yard care: Mow your own lawn. Yard care service is so nice – but it is expensive.
Housekeeping services: Like car washes and lawn care, having someone clean your house is a real treat. But it is also an expensive luxury.
Mani/Pedi: Do your own nails. Get a nice pedicure set and save the expense of a manicurist.
Postpone a large purchase: Whatever you consider a large purchase is up to you. Think you need a new tablet, smart TV, a new winter coat when the one you have is still in good shape and style, etc.. Put off the purchase for a while – weeks – a month. It may be that you decide it’s not a necessary purchase. Or if you do need it you may find a better price.
Pay cash: Save for purchases and pay cash. This helps save in a couple of ways. First, no interest payments or installment payments, and secondly, you will think twice before letting go of cash.
Don’t pay bank fees: If you use a financial institution that charges you fees, find another one.
Save at the grocery store: One way we control our grocery spending is to use the store pick-up service. You know exactly how much your shopping trip will be and you are not going to make an impulse purchase. Just use a pickup service that is free, like Walmart grocery pickup.
Learn to cook: Dining out is nice and fun, but making your own meals is not just more economical, it is also better for you. Make a meal plan for at least a week ahead at a time. That will make your grocery shopping easier and you won’t buy things you don’t need. This can also be a family activity. Your family can learn to cook and eat better.
More grocery savings: Make a list (from your meal plan) and stick to it.
Subscriptions: If you still have magazine or newspaper subscriptions, cancel them. Use the internet or library instead.
Cut the cable: Drop your cable or satellite service and use streaming services like Netflix.
Never stop looking for ways to save money. #Saving #SaveMoney #Frugal Share on XDeals: Don’t buy something just because it is a good deal. Very often these are impulse purchases you don’t need. A few dollars here and there will add up quickly.
Coupons: Like deals, don’t buy something just because you have a coupon. Use a coupon if it is an item on your list but don’t buy something you don’t need.

Thank you! Back at you!
Thanks! Same for you!
I love your point about paying cash! We typically try to do this on our vacations. You are able to see exactly how much you are spending and can also see how much is left. It really gets you thinking.
If you would use your handy dandy credit card all the time, it is a lot harder to keep track of how much debt is racking up.
Credit cards have their place – but can get you in trouble!
