A little bit about me – 
I am a child of God and my faith and family mean a lot to me.
For most of my life, I worked in IT, my last position was as a Certified QA Engineer. I really loved my work and was pretty good at it :-). I recently retired and love spending more time with my family and my free time.
We are Disney fanatics, especially Disney Cruise Line cruises, so expect to hear more about them 🙂 We love to travel and have been blessed to have been to Europe, Canada, Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico (just a few months before Hurricane Maria), the Bahamas, and several Caribbean Islands.
In my off hours, I like to dabble in all kinds of crafts. I’m not especially good at any of them but I enjoy doing it. Each Christmas my family and friends get something I have made, which I think is kinda cool.
I was born in Southeast Tennessee where I lived until I was 12. We were transferred to Allentown, PA – that was a culture shock for a young girl! After High School, I returned to Tennessee. At one point I was transferred to Indianapolis, IN, and saw more snow than I ever imagined. I made some good friends there that I am still close to today. After several years, I returned to Tennessee where I still am.
We like to save money to fund our trips and my crafts 🙂 My husband is an accounting guru, so we create and live by a budget. I hope some of my experiences will be interesting and helpful to you.
I share money-saving ideas, crafts that I have made or want to make, and our travels. We are also dog lovers and I post quite a bit about our fur-babies. I appreciate you visiting my site and would love to hear from you!
